1965 Reunion Book

Gary PufferAfter MRHS I attended Keene State and received my degree inEnglish in 1969. I also played a little baseball for the Owls. Whilethere I met Cathy, my wife of 45 years.During the 70’s and 80’ I worked for Vt. National Bank inBrattleboro and Maine Fidelity Life, and NGM in Keene as WorkMeasurement Analyst and Business Systems Analyst.In 1982 our son Ben was born. He is now married and lives in Marlboro, Ma.After leaving NGM I had a variety of jobs, including manager of a bookstore, a great fit for a life longavid reader. My last years on the job were as a bank courier and I really enjoyed being out and aboutevery day.Cathy retired from 35 years of teaching in 2006, and I joined her in 2011.Now I fill my days with variousactivities like gardening, hiking withour Yellow Lab and doing all the littleand large projects any homeowner isfamiliar with. I played competitivesoftball until I was 53, but now that’sover. Being retired gives me the timeto read all the books I never had timefor.
