JOHN DEVOIDAfter graduation I attendedBentley College in Boston for ayear, then N.H. College inManchester (now Southern NHUniversity,) where I also playedvarsity soccer and baseball for three years.I married in 1972 to a girl from New Jersey, went into thecar business with VW and continued until 1992 withBMW and Infiniti with their Sales and Leasing end of thebusiness. In 1992 I was hired as District Manager for aRoberts Pharmaceutical Company until 1996.101n 1999 my wife and I divorced after twenty-seven years.During this time however, we had four great sons; Stephen in 1976,Andrew in 1979, Jeremy in 1982 and Timothy in 1984. As myclassmates know, sports run through my veins, as I was a coach for allof my sons in soccer, basketball and baseball throughout their growingyears. And for twenty years I was a New Jersey High School boys andgirls Soccer Official. Unfortunately in 2007 I lost my third son, Jeremyto Cancer. My other three sons all live in Wilmington, North Carolina.I’m proud to write I have fivebeautiful grand kids; Trevor – 10,Miles – 8, Jordan – 8, Olivia – 8, andLily – 4. Two boys and three girls – agreat sports team in the making!2001 brought me Marilyn, a beautifullady who I met in Princeton. She changed and lit up my life then, andcontinues to brighten my life each and every day. We have traveledthroughout the United States and Canada, and have taken to the sea withmany cruises. We enjoy being together and love being so close to thebeach. We live in Belmar, New Jersey – four houses from the ocean.Can’t beat that!Retiring in September of 2012, I realized I failed miserably as the stay athome guy, and quickly re-entered the workforce in the spring of 2014,returning to Infiniti with Ray Catena Infiniti in Bridgewater, New Jerseywhere I continue to this day.I enjoy playing golf, walking on the boardwalk and the beach, going tothe movies, going out to eat, and thankful I'm in good health.
