Journal of Documentation provides a forum for the dissemination of scholarly articles, research<br />
reports <strong>an</strong>d critical reviews in the information sciences. In doing so, it provides a link between<br />
research <strong>an</strong>d scholarship <strong>an</strong>d reflective professional practice, so that both are informed <strong>an</strong>d<br />
enh<strong>an</strong>ced. The scope of this leading <strong>journal</strong> is broadly “information studies”, encompassing all<br />
of the academic <strong>an</strong>d professional disciplines which deal with recorded information.<br />
Journal of Documentation has the unique perspective<br />
of focusing on theories, concepts, models,<br />
frameworks, <strong>an</strong>d philosophies in the information<br />
sciences. The Journal publishes articles on the<br />
methodology of research, results of research projects,<br />
reflections on practice, his<strong>to</strong>rical articles, <strong>an</strong>d items<br />

reviews of the literature in subject areas of interest,<br />
