The post holder will provide clientswith ASC with the highest quality support and training possible and enablethem to get the job they want and keep it. He/she will have a veryprofessional manner and will liaise regularly with parents, carers, employersand multi disciplinary teams.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Customer/Stakeholder1. Mentor and assist clients towards paid employment providing person-centred support tohelp clients achieve this goal.2. To review and assess the effectiveness of the project content and propose changes toServices’ Coordinator if necessary.3. To liaise regularly with parents/carers and key workers4. To support and mentor participants to achieve their personal goals5. To have a grass roots understanding of challenges faced by this group of participants6. Motivate participants to achieve peak productivity and performance.7. To ensure that agreed targets for work performance are in place and are met.8. To ensure the notification to Senior Management of any untoward incident / accidentinvolving either staff or trainees, and the recording and reporting of any such incident /accident to the appropriate authorities.Finance9. To contribute to the monthly activity/financial monitoring returns as outlined by funders


Internal Processes10. To regularly and accurately maintain appropriate participant record11. To contribute to the preparation of comprehensive statistical and narrative monthlyprogramme reports.12. Comply with Organisational, Project and Legal Codes of Practice and Conduct13. Maintain and adhere to appropriate disciplinary standards14. To liaise with all staff on a regular basis15. To fully integrate within the partner organisations and be involved in strategic andoperational plans to meet the needs and aspirations of key stakeholders16. To embrace and regularly utilize social and digital media17. To contribute to NOW Annual Report, Website and Newsletters as and when required18. To ensure that the appropriate information is effectively gathered and communicated to keystakeholdersLearning, Growth & Sustainability19. To liaise with line manager on emerging client needs and developments within the field ofemployment/Learning Disability/ASC20. Identify geographical areas where there is a gap in services and research viability forexpansion of NOW’s service21. To be able to self-motivate and manage own workload22. To actively engage with community23. Demonstrate willingness towards learning and apply new skills appropriate to the evolvingneeds of the Project.24. Liaise with appropriate agencies and organisations who may be beneficial to the project25. Assist and supervise volunteers26. Attend in monthly supervision and annual appraisals and ensure that agreed targets forwork performance are in place and are met27. To assist in the implementation of NOW’s marketing and communications strategy28. To ensure that you project a positive image of the organisation in all aspects of your work.29. Promote and disseminate information on the work of NOW by undertaking presentations,attending conferences and training courses etc. when required.30. Report all operational activity Services’ Co-ordinator on a timely basis31. Meet with relevant staff on a regular basis to ensure effective two – way communication.32.
