A note from the Bailli Délégué

Bailli Délégué
I would like to lead off this issue by thanking the
executive of the Calgary Bailliage for taking on the
unexpected task of organizing this year’s national
meeting in Calgary (October 4-6, 2007). I realize how
much effort is required and I know they will do an
outstanding job. Please consider joining us in early
October for an incredible culinary experience.
Membership continues to be a major focus for our
Bailliages on both a local and national level. This issue
of la Chaîne in Canada is literally packed with shining
examples of how our Canadian confrères are leading
the way on the international culinary scene. I would ask
you to continue to be ever vigilant for friends and associates
who you think might enjoy what the Chaîne des
Rôtisseurs has to offer. Invite them to a Chaîne event.
Follow up with them afterwards to make sure they
know they are officially welcomed to consider membership.
It often only takes a phone call or two to attract an
excellent new member!
As always, I would like to conclude by reminding
you that the next issue of La Chaîne in Canada is
scheduled for October/November 2007. Please address
all articles on past or future events (preferred in digital
format or other word processing program) and photos
(either as prints or high resolution digital files, with
separate captions either in Word or on your email) to

select your language of preference to enter the site.
2. In the top left hand corner of the next page, you will see a
“members log-in” box.
3. Enter the last five digits of your membership number (as they
appear on your Chaîne member card) in the top blank provided.
4. The blank below this is for your password. (If you haven’t entered
your password yet, just click on “help” beside the box for
instructions on what to do.) Then hit “enter.”
5. The selections in the
members log-in box will
change to “check your
profile,” “update your
profile” and “log out.”
6. Step-by-step instructions
are provided,
depending on what you
would like to do.
