Trust Vision -Progress Towards RealisationGOALS ACHIEVEMENTS PLANSOffer the ‘best inNHS’ care for ourpatients.This goal is measured byachieving top 10%performance across the NHSfor all Key PerformanceIndicators (KPIs). The Trust isalready in the top 10% forwaiting list size, A&E 4 hourtarget, and MRSA targetachievement. We have beenselected as one of 18 nationalsites to achieve 18 weeks waitby December 2007. Achieved‘good’ for quality in the 05/06Annual Health Check and 3Star rating in 03/04 and 04/05.Lengths of stay have beenreduced from among longestin NHS to CHKS Peer average.We are one of the cleanesthospitals in the NHS with top10% PEAT ratings.The Trust plans to achieve 18weeks target by December2007 with support ofBlackpool PCT and NorthLancashire PCT. We plan toreduce maximum A&E waits tothree hours from four byDecember 2007 also. We aimto achieve an ‘excellent’ ratingfor quality of service in thenext Annual Health Check.Lengths of stay and day caserates are planned to reach top10% performance bySeptember 2007.09
