By the end of the year, 1,527 companies had their shareholders registries kept with theCDA, including 370 new customers in 2009.In 2009, total value of AMD 45,425,223,103 was traded in equities through 27 exchangeand 167 OTC transactions, including AMD 97,900,300 (or 0.22% of total) in listed stocks.This year trades in listed stocks were concluded only at the exchange, while in 2008 valueof OTC trades in listed equities made 2.53% of the total value traded.Figure 15. Total value traded incorporate bonds was AMD 10,943,336,267, including AMD 10,545,816,969 (or 96.37% oftotal) in listed corporate bonds. Exchange trades in listed corporate bonds made 97.36% oftotal amount traded, while the remaining value was traded OTC. The number of trades was728, 98.76% of which was exchange trades. Compared to 2008, total value of corporatebonds traded on the exchange and OTC grew about 5 times, while the number of tradesnearly three times.In 2009 OTC trades in listed corporate bonds were done only in October, while no OTCtrades in listed stocks were concluded this year.
