Once this was done, we installed all<br />
new Groco seacocks with the hull<br />
strainers mentioned earlier. Lots of<br />
other work was done during this time<br />
out of the water. I completely rebuilt<br />
the entire sanitation system with new<br />
toilets, holding tank, hoses and<br />
diaphragm pump.<br />
I installed a new SSB radio with an<br />
external sintered bronze ground plate.<br />
The boat had no radar when I<br />
purchased her, so I installed a new<br />
color radar unit. She also came with an<br />
old Radio Shack car stereo unit that<br />
was on its last legs. That was replaced<br />
with a very nice Alpine stereo with an<br />
additional 100 watt amplifier (good for<br />
dock parties!) and Bose speakers inside<br />
and out. The old GPS was flaky as<br />
well, so it was replaced with a new<br />
Garmin unit. This was a very basic<br />
