Don’t ask permission to do sustainable design either.” Start with Sustainability As humans, we often get ideas in our heads about what something is. If we hold on to those ideas long enough and repeat them often enough, valid or not, they become, for us, fact. This may be the case with our ideas about sustainability. Our chapter’s Green Practices Advisory Council has a mission to promote and support sustainable practices in the planning and implementation of chapter meetings and events. The old perception of sustainability has been slow to change in this arena as well.
