This was reflected in 2007 through our membership, outreach programs and visitors from all of Iowa’s 99 counties. Our continued success as a leading cultural, educational and recreational resource for our state depends on financial support of businesses, private foundations and individuals. SERVAL CALIFORNIA SEA LIONS 13 2006-07 ANNUAL REPORT ANIMAL BEHAVIORAL TRAINING The animal behavioral training program instituted last year at the Zoo continues to be successful, with both our great cats and pinnipeds (sea lions and harbor seal.) This year, our two female servals were added to the training program. Behavioral training has been of enormous benefit to the health of our animals, keeping them physically and mentally active and more comfortable with presenting themselves for veterinary care procedures.
