(k) "vine varieties" means varieties of plants of Vitis without prejudice to any more
restrictive legislation which a Contracting Party may have in respect of wine produced
on its territory;
(l) "identification" means, when used in relation to geographical indications, the use of
geographical indications for the purpose of describing or presenting a wine.
ARTICLE 4
General rules on importation and marketing
Unless otherwise provided for in this Agreement, importation and marketing shall be conducted in
compliance with the laws and regulations applying in the territory of the Contracting Party
concerned.
