perform various analytical tests<br />

· Validate process design, operation<br />

and control systems<br />

· Prepare and monitor project cost<br />

estimates<br />

· Track and monitor facility changes<br />

and updates<br />

· Calculate and design floor and<br />

pipe layouts for various circuits<br />

· Operate small scale bioreactors<br />

Chemical and Biological Engineering is a unique program that merges the<br />

two complementary fields. Students take foundational courses on physical,<br />

chemical and biological sciences, transport phenomena, kinetics, separations,<br />

process engineering and design and economics. Through their academic<br />

courses, students also become well versed in Microsoft Excel, MATLAB and<br />

Aspen software.<br />
