Services team

Meet
the team!
Three Neighbourhood teams cover specific
neighbourhood areas and deal with housing
matters including resident engagement,
anti-social behaviour, estate maintenance and
anything else relating to your tenancy.
This means our Neighbourhood Officers have
a greater presence in your community and are
better able to deal with the issues affecting your
neighbourhood.

You can discuss any housing matter with your
Neighbourhood Officer by contacting them via
phone or email (details on the back cover) or,
they can come and see you at your home.
A separate Income Management team deals
with rent payments, rent arrears and housing
benefit queries. The team can also assist
with arranging fast track appointments about
benefits and debt advice with the East Herts
Citizens Advice Service.

Spend most of their time out in
your neighbourhood speaking to
residents about their home and
tenancy, anti-social behaviour,
estate maintenance and cleaning,
as well as resident engagement to
find out how we can
tailor our services
to meet your needs.
Flexicare Manager
Liaises with our on site care
teams to ensure a high level of
service is always delivered at our
flexicare housing schemes for
older people. They also support
and assist flexicare residents with
any day-to-day housing matters.

Responsible for housing
residents, from initial
correspondence with the local
authority to signing the tenancy
agreement and handing over
the keys. They also manage our
empty properties to ensure they
are occupied by new residents
within 21 days.
Leasehold
Scheme Manager
Is the point of contact for
leaseholders (residents who own
the lease) at our older persons’
leasehold schemes, who have any
queries regarding the communal
areas, facilities and external walls
of their property.
Community
Alarms Officer
Process applications for community
alarms across all neighbourhood
areas, from initial enquiry to the
installation of equipment. They
will discuss payment options and
monitor the service, as well as
provide low level
housing related support.
