Maximum energy efficiency
The components of the MULTIVAC chamber belt machines that are
relevant to energy consumption, such as the drive system for the transport
conveyor and the chamber lid, have been equipped with energyefficient
electric drives. The number of pneumatic systems has been
reduced to the bare minimum.
The similarly consumption-optimised, adjustable cooling water circuit
can be equipped with a water-recooling device as an option.
This will eliminate the need to supply the machine’s cooling system
with fresh water.
Optimised conveyor system
The conveyer belt can be slackened at the push of a button and can
easily be removed for thorough cleaning. An innovative system to
control the belt tension ensures that the transport conveyor always
remains in the optimum position, even during continuous operation.
Powered by a servo motor, the transport conveyor progressively
adjusts the belt speed. This gradual acceleration and deceleration
helps to prevent the packaged products from slipping.
The transport conveyor can be optionally equipped with rolling-stop
bars, which guarantee the reliable packaging of cylindrical products or
products with a small contact area.
For the decoupling of the loading and packaging procedure, the chamber
belt machines B 510 and B 610 can be optionally equipped with a
separate infeed conveyor. This optimises the deployment of personnel
when loading the chamber belt machine.
