SCOTT BOGGS<br />

EQUIPMENT MANAGER<br />

Scott Boggs enters his eighth season as the Head Equipment Manager of the New York Islanders. He came to the Islanders from the Chicago<br />

Blackhawks, where he spent the 2005-06 season as an Assistant Equipment Manager. From 2000 to 2005, Boggs served as the Equipment Manager<br />

for the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League (AHL). He also served in that capacity for the Hampton Roads Admirals during their last two<br />

years in the ECHL, from 1998-2000. Prior to joining that organization, Boggs worked for the Thunder Bay Thunder Cats (United Hockey League) and<br />

the Calgary Hitmen (Western Hockey League).<br />

A native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Boggs is a member of the society of Professional Equipment Managers.<br />

RICHARD KROUSE<br />

ASSISTANT EQUIPMENT MANAGER<br />

Richard “Shakey” Krouse enters his ninth season with the New York Islanders as the team’s Assistant Equipment Manager. Prior to joining the<br />

Islanders, Krouse served as the Head Equipment Manager of the Utah Grizzlies (American Hockey League) from 2001-02 to 2004-05. Before joining<br />

Utah, Krouse spent time with the Las Vegas Thunder (International Hockey League), Jacksonville Lizard Kings (ECHL) and Houston Aeros (AHL) as<br />

the Head Equipment Manager. A native of Utica, NY, Krouse was on the equipment staff for the 1994-95 Calder Cup Champion Albany River Rats.<br />

THOMAS M. KITZ<br />

EQUIPMENT ASSISTANT<br />

Thomas M. Kitz returns for his 10th full-time season as a member of the New York Islanders Equipment Staff. Prior to his promotion as fulltime<br />

equipment assistant, Kitz assisted visiting teams with their equipment needs. From 1999-2003, the native of West Sayville, NY was the<br />

clubhouse manager for the Long Island Ducks baseball team. Before his work with the Ducks, Kitz spent four years in the U.S. Navy. In his spare<br />

time, Kitz is a Tennis Pro at Muttontown Country Club and Roslyn Country Estate.<br />
