PRESS BOX<br />
CREDENTIALS: Season passes will be issued to those members of major media outlets covering the<br />
team on a regular basis. All others will be issued single-game passes. For single-game access,<br />
please contact the Media Relations Department at least 48 hours in advance of each game via e-mail.<br />
PRESS ENTRANCE: The press entrance is located at Gate 1 on the west side of Nassau Coliseum. An Islanders<br />
game night representative will distribute credentials no earlier than two hours before every game.<br />
PRESS BOX: Take the elevator opposite Gate 16 to the second floor, stay to the right and follow the corridor<br />
past luxury suites to the press box. A seating chart is located just inside the press box on the<br />
right-hand side. An Islanders game-night representative will be available for assistance. Press box<br />
seats are reserved for accredited members of the media, visiting team representatives and scouts only.<br />
D<strong>IN</strong><strong>IN</strong>G AREA: Take the stairwell just inside the press box entrance; press lounge and restrooms are on the right.<br />
WORK ROOM: On the press box level, take the stairwell located just inside of the press box entrance<br />
and follow the corridor to the work room on your left. On the lockerroom level, media may work in Room<br />
5, located outside of the lockerroom hallway, adjacent to the Islanders player tunnel.<br />
PHONES: Phones are available at a limited number of press box seats. If you require assistance with a<br />
phone or need one at your seat, please see an Islanders game night representative near the entrance<br />
of the press box.<br />
GAME DAY <strong>IN</strong>FORMATION<br />
WIRELESS <strong>IN</strong>TERNET: Wireless internet is available in the press box free of charge. On most nights, a<br />
technician is available to assist with set up. Computers must be equipped for wireless internet access.<br />
STATISTICS: NHL off-ice officials log all goals and penalties during the game. These statistics will<br />
be handed out between periods and at the conclusion of the game. Starting lineups will also be<br />
distributed before the opening faceoff.<br />
LOCKER ROOMS: Both locker rooms are located at ice level on the opposite side of the building from the<br />
press box.<br />
PRE-GAME ACCESS: The Islanders will be available from 120 minutes until 90 minutes before gametime<br />
in the corridor outside of the dressing room hallway. An Islanders representative will be there to<br />
assist you and to take requests.<br />
POST-GAME ACCESS: The Islanders locker room will be open five minutes following the conclusion of the<br />
game. The head coach will hold his post-game press conference at the same time in the designated room,<br />
outside of the locker room hallway and across from the lower level media work room. To avoid a post-game<br />
logjam in the room, please leave the room as soon as your work is finished.<br />
PRACTICE: The Islanders split their practice time between the Nassau Coliseum and Islanders Iceworks<br />
in Syosset. The schedule is subject to change. Media members are urged to call the Media Relations<br />
Department each day to confirm site and time. Practices are closed to the public.<br />
