Leitrim
The allocation (€6.5 million)
to Leitrim under the Rural
Water Programme was welcomed
by GWS Federation
chairperson, Mary Bohan.
Addressing delegates to the
Federation AGM on 12
March, Ms Bohan outlined
developments in the RWP in
the county over the past year.
It was agreed that Federation
meetings are required on a
more regular basis and to this
end, a further meeting will be
scheduled in April.

Concerns were raised by representatives
of Cornashanogue
GWS in relation to receipt of a
letter of direction from the
local authority. NFGWS
regional officer, Paul
Connolly is to liaise with
Leitrim County Council on
this matter.

Ballinagleragh GWS to the
North Leitrim Regional

plant on Friday 29
