A lot of Obama supporters are about to
see first hand the difference between trickle
up-spread the wealth economics and
trickle down-grow the pie economics. It

will be a hard and expensive lesson to
learn.
So in this difficult period those that
believe in growing the pie can continue
to vote every day with their powerful
spending habits. Those will be by far
the most important votes you have the
right to cast. You can chose very carefully
where you spend your hard earned
dollars and who you hire and have to
potentially lay off if you are in the position
to do so.
And what about Wyoming’s new hated
son, Gov. Dave Freudenthal? Isn’t it interesting
that Pres Elect Obama, who was
endorsed by Gov. Dave, decided to attack
coal in the last moments of the election
when Wyoming receives an incredible
amount of tax revenues from coalmines?
Wyoming is in the top 10 states in tax revenue
per person and of course the average
Wyoming voter (especially in Teton
County) does not feel that tax burden
because it is paid directly by our major
mining industries. Those taxes are directly
responsible for almost 1 billion dollars of
schools’ facility spending approved and in
progress. Gov. Dave, since Wyoming voters
disagree with your endorsement wholeheartedly,
it would be appropriate for you
to resign immediately.

The owners of Davies Reid did not request that Planet JH no longer be delivered to
their store; nor did they say, “Screw the Planet” [Editorial, Nov. 5]. Rather, the owners’
daughter/ manager and her husband, speaking “solely for myself,” made the request and
comment, respectively.
David Cabassi’s performance last Sunday was not the last of the season for the Center
of the Arts [Music Box, Nov. 5]. The season continues with Pianafiddle, Loose Ties and
Asleep at the Wheel through Feb. 28.
