REMARKS AND FURTHER INFORMATION<br />

As it was a pilot data collection, not all national Joint Action for <strong>ECHIM</strong> partners were able to devote<br />

adequate efforts, resources <strong>and</strong> time for accessing primary data sources <strong>and</strong> developing <strong>and</strong> testing new<br />

data processing procedures in order to calculate required indicators. Further international joint efforts <strong>and</strong><br />

support for EU countries are needed to establish more permanent structures <strong>and</strong> procedures for indicator<br />

calculation in order to improve the availability of internationally comparable data for this <strong>and</strong> other<br />

administrative data-based ECHI indicators.<br />
