may be then remaining thereof be charged and chargeable with the payment of the sum or sums of five hundred pounds to each and<br />

every of such daughters respectively, first chargeable with the payment of whatever sum or sums of money or otherwise as may<br />

appear to be settled on such wife and then the remaining part of the effects hereby bequeathed to my said son William Tremayne if<br />

any then be shall return and go back to my said sons Mathew and John Tremayne their and each heirs execs or admins share and<br />

share alike. And I do hereby declare it to be and my Will is that my said son William Tremayne shall not be compelled or Lyable to<br />

give or render any account inventory or schedule of the estate or effects or any part thereof now bequeathed him to either of my said<br />

sons Mathew or John Tremayne or any other person or persons whatsoever but shall hereby have free & Quiet enjoyment and full<br />

power of disposing and transacting therein in the premises as my said son William Tremayne shall think fit and find occasion; and as<br />

I myself might or could do if alive.<br />

In Witness whereof I the said William Tremayne have hereunto set my hand & seal this thirteenth day of August in the third year of<br />

the reign of our sovereign Lord George the third King over Great Britain & so forth and in the year of our lord one thousand seven<br />

hundred and sixty three.<br />

Signed sealed published and declared to be my last Will and Testament all others heretofore by me made now revoked in the<br />

presence of us and wrote on two sheets of paper here annexed together.<br />

v. Melchisedec chr 18 Aug 1722 Wendron, bur 29 Oct 1791Wendron.<br />

vi. William chr 12 Nov 1724 Wendron, bur 14 Apr 1763 Wendron.<br />

vii. Gideon chr 09 Nov 1726 Wendron, bur 15 Jan 1771 Wendron.<br />

viii. Frances b abt 1730 Wendron, marr John Moyle 21 Apr 1752, named in fathers Will.<br />

ix. Cuthbert chr 21 May 1733 Wendron, bur 23 Sep 1807 Wendron.<br />

His marriage is listed in the Phillimore Marriage Register Series.<br />

Cutbert's (sic Cuthbert), Yeoman, Will is dated 8 February 1750.<br />

In the name of God Amen<br />

I Cuthbert Tremain of the parish of Wendron in the county of Cornwall, Yeoman, being very sick and weak in boddy but of perfect<br />

memory thanks be given to God: and calling to mind the mortallity of my body and knowing that itt is apointed for all once to die do<br />

make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament that it is to say principally and first of all: I give and recommend my soul to God<br />

that gave itt and my boddy to the Earth to be burried in a Christian like and decent manner at the discretion of my exctr nominated<br />

hereafter not doubting but at the generall resurrection I shall receive the same againe by the power of God and as touching such<br />

worly estate where with itt hath pleased God to bless me with in this life: I Give and dispose in maner and form following.<br />

Item I give and bequeath unto my son John Tremain (b1720) the sum of twenty pounds to be paid him att the end of two years after<br />

my death and the money that he doth owe me which is in his hand.<br />

Item I give and bequeath unto my son William Tremain (b1724) the sum of twenty pounds to be paid him at the end of two years<br />

after my death.<br />

Item I give and bequeath unto my son Gideon Tremain (b1726) the sum of twenty pounds to be paid him at the end of two years<br />

after my death.<br />

Item I give and bequeath unto my son Cuthbert Tremain (b1733) the sum of twenty pounds to be paid him when his time of<br />

prenticeship being out and my exctr to find him convenient cloaths until that time.<br />

Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane (b1715) the wife of Francis Pasco the sum of Ten pounds to be paid her at the end<br />

of two years after my death.<br />

Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Frances Tremain (b1730) the sum of twenty pounds to be paid her at the end of two years<br />

after my death.<br />

Item I give and bequeath unto my son Millc’dick Tremain (b1722) home I doth make and ordaine my whole and sole exctr all my<br />

goods and chatels moveable and immoveable. Except before excepted with paying all my Lawfull debts.<br />

And this to be my last Will and Testament renouncing all Wills and Testaments ever before made by me in Wittness hereof I doth<br />

hereunto set my hand and seal this eaight day of February 1750/51.<br />
