BACKGROUND AND OVERVIEW INSPIRING BOLD SOLUTIONS WITH GLOBAL IMPACT UTA’s strategic plan, Bold Solutions, Global Impact, sets an ambitious agenda while fostering the collaborative and cross-disciplinary thinking our future demands. Developed over a 15-month period through extensive discussions within the University and with the constituencies we serve, the plan received enthusiastic approval in February from the UT System Board of Regents. Anchored by a history of academic excellence and based on our unique geographic location at the heart of one of the nation’s fastest-growing metropolitan areas and our adjacency to one of the world’s largest airport complexes, the plan is committed to serving the community and enhancing the megacity of tomorrow through vision and leadership. Bold Solutions, Global Impact positions UTA at the forefront of the discovery, integration, and application of information and knowledge while leading the way for a transformative educational experience not constrained by time, space, or location.
