The Inter-City visits have been designed to look at<br />
similar communities to Clarksville-Montgomery County,<br />
and hopefully spur ideas that can make our community<br />

Clarksville’s Average Daily Traffic (ADT) count is nearly 37,000<br />
at Exit 4, which feeds directly into Clarksville’s<br />

downtown district, with destination restaurants and selected specialty<br />
stores; Riverside Drive sees almost 29,000 vehicles a day.<br />
Wilma Rudolph Boulevard/Guthrie Highway Corridor - A five-mile<br />
long retail corridor connecting with Interstate 24 - ADT counts of almost<br />
37,000 vehicles per day near this location.<br />
Exit 11/Madison Street Area - ADT count averages 21,000 vehicles per<br />
day.<br />
Trenton Road/Tiny Town Road - Vast commercial development is taking<br />
place near the intersection of Tiny Town Road and Trenton Road, ADT for<br />
Tiny Town Road is close to 25,000.<br />

The Retail Recruitment initiative<br />
The Retail Recruitment initiative assists Chamber and IDB staff in<br />
the recruitment of retailers that are specific to our community’s<br />
market. Aspire funds widely regarded retail experts, Buxton, to<br />
identify matches that culminate at the International Council on<br />
Shopping Centers (ICSC) annual conference in Las Vegas. A<br />
delegation of ten Clarksville-Montgomery County representatives<br />
facilitated the in person meetings.<br />
