Postgraduate Taught Courses<br />

Faculty of Arts offers a broad range of programmes in Documentary Practice,<br />

Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies, English Literature, Irish History and Politics,<br />

Journalism, Media Management and Policy, Museum Practice and Management<br />

and Music.<br />

Faculty of Art, Design and the Built Environment offer courses across Architecture<br />

and Design, Art and Design, and The Built Environment. Subjects include<br />

Architecture, Commercial Management in Construction, Construction Business<br />

and Project Management, Fine Art, Fire Safety Engineering, Housing Studies,<br />

Infrastructure Engineering, Photography, Real Estate and Renewable Energy and<br />

Energy Management.<br />

Faculty of Computing and Engineering courses are underpinned by strong<br />

industry partnerships and are offered in the areas of Computing - Computational<br />

Intelligence and Professional Software Development (for non-computing graduates)<br />

and Engineering - Biomedical Engineering, Advanced Composites and<br />

Polymers and Manufacturing Management.<br />

Faculty of Life and Health Sciences<br />

The Faculty offers over 40 postgraduate courses in varying modes of attendance,<br />

including the increasingly popular web based e-learning. Seven broad subject<br />

groups are offered: Biomedical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Health Sciences,<br />

Nursing, Pharmacy, Psychology and Sports Studies.<br />

Faculty of Social Sciences offers a wide range of subjects, including: Communication,<br />

Law, Peace & Conflict Studies, a range of PGCEs and Social <strong>Work</strong>.<br />

Ulster Business School<br />

The School offers a broad range of taught Masters’ programmes underpinned by<br />

strong partnerships with relevant professional bodies. The School covers three<br />

broad subject groups: Accounting and Finance, Business and Management and<br />

Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure.<br />
