Welcome to Ulster University’s Graduate Recruitment & Work Placement Fairs This fair programme has been produced to provide all final year students and those students seeking an industrial placement year or summer internship with an initial listing of vacancies and opportunities. This is your chance to do your research and identify a range of options available to you. Exhibitors and vacancies are listed alphabetically. You can quickly view at the top of every organisations’ profile which Fair and day they will be attending. Please pay particular attention to closing dates as some may be early in the year, and remember to do follow up research on company websites. The Employability Portal is your online resource for Careers and Employability: ulster.ac.uk/ employability. Career Development Centre - Based across the four campuses your Career Development Centre is here to offer accessible support & advice, create meaningful opportunities and manage high quality resources that will boost your chances of being successful. Centre locations - Jordanstown (13G01), Coleraine (H214), Magee (MF226E), Belfast (Library). Opening Times and Drop In times for each campus can be found at the Employability Portal. Looking for information? - Call into your local Career Information Room and chat to the Information Staff, they will be able to give you current up-to-date information and direct you to suitable resources both in hard copy and on-line. Career guidance interviews - If your query is likely to take longer than 10 minutes and you feel you need further guidance, then book in for a careers guidance interview. To book a time for a careers interview, select the “My Career” tab on the student portal to access the ‘Employability Portal’. http:// employability.ulster.ac.uk and select ‘Advice and Resources’. PACE - The PACE system is an interactive tool which supports students and graduates in developing, reviewing and recording their employability skills. http://pace.ulster.ac.uk/ Graduate Recruit - Whether you are a looking for a graduate level job at the end of your studies, a placement opportunity or looking to develop experience during your studies, our vacancy search ‘Graduate Recruit’ has the information you need. It is constantly updated and can only be accessed by Ulster students or graduates. To access select the “My Career” tab on the student portal.
