MIAMI - Diego Torres,<br />

returns with BUENA VIDA, his<br />

new album available in both<br />

physical and digital format<br />

starting today October 9. The<br />

singer, songwriter and actor,<br />

again with record label Sony<br />

Music Latin, has managed to<br />

reflect in the 11 included songs<br />

the testimony of all that was<br />

important to him throughout<br />

his career.<br />

Copello (Colombia), BUENA<br />

VIDA, eighth studio album for<br />

the singer, reflecting the<br />

renewal of his musical career<br />

with a modern sound that, for<br />

the composer, “pays tribute to<br />

the simplicity and complexity<br />

of our existence. It’s a special<br />

album, which has to do with<br />

the different aspects that life<br />

has. The album reflects the<br />

complexities of life, what one<br />

is living."<br />

The resounding success of<br />

the first single, “Hoy es<br />

Domingo” (Today is<br />

Sunday), from his new<br />

album, a duet with the<br />

legendary Panamanian<br />

artist Rubén Blades that<br />

premiered last June 29,<br />

has already given him a<br />

nomination to Latin<br />

GRAMMY® 2015. “Hoy es<br />

Domingo” (Today is<br />

Sunday), reflects the<br />

tradition of Sunday as a<br />

holiday of family reunion, it<br />

has a positive message and<br />

a melody with tropical<br />

rhythms.<br />

Among the 11 songs on the<br />

album it’s include his<br />

second single “La vida es<br />

un vals” (Life is a waltz). A<br />

ballad composed by the<br />

same Diego Torres with<br />

Yotuel, Beatriz Luengo and<br />

Antonio Rayo.<br />

The song "talks about the<br />

ups and downs of life and we<br />

have to learn to overcome<br />

them to move forward", said<br />

the singer.<br />

Besides songs full of<br />

optimism and romance, the<br />

disc also includes, among<br />

others, songs as “Iguales”<br />

(Peers) of social content,<br />

“Contradicción”<br />

(contradiction) that reflects<br />

the problems that everyone<br />

has to learn to live with, or<br />

“Por ellas” (For them) a<br />

tribute song to women,<br />

whose invited artists are the<br />

Colombian group<br />

ChocQuibTown.<br />

Since beginning his music<br />

career in 1989, the also<br />

actor and producer of<br />

Argentine origin, has sold<br />

millions of albums,<br />

accumulating 5 nominations<br />

for the MTV/VMALA awards<br />

also being awarded with<br />

three Latin GRAMMY® and<br />

have won two GRAMMY®<br />

award nominations.<br />
