Returns with his new record release Buena Vida (Good life)
MIAMI - Diego Torres,
returns with BUENA VIDA, his
new album available in both
physical and digital format
starting today October 9. The
singer, songwriter and actor,
again with record label Sony
Music Latin, has managed to
reflect in the 11 included songs
the testimony of all that was
important to him throughout
his career.

VIDA, eighth studio album for
the singer, reflecting the
renewal of his musical career
with a modern sound that, for
the composer, “pays tribute to
the simplicity and complexity
of our existence. It’s a special
album, which has to do with
the different aspects that life
has. The album reflects the
complexities of life, what one
is living."
The resounding success of
the first single, “Hoy es
Domingo” (Today is
Sunday), from his new
album, a duet with the
legendary Panamanian
artist Rubén Blades that
premiered last June 29,
has already given him a
nomination to Latin
GRAMMY® 2015. “Hoy es
Domingo” (Today is
Sunday), reflects the
tradition of Sunday as a
holiday of family reunion, it
has a positive message and
a melody with tropical
rhythms.
Among the 11 songs on the
album it’s include his
second single “La vida es
un vals” (Life is a waltz). A
ballad composed by the
same Diego Torres with
Yotuel, Beatriz Luengo and
Antonio Rayo.
The song "talks about the
ups and downs of life and we
have to learn to overcome
them to move forward", said
the singer.
Besides songs full of
optimism and romance, the
disc also includes, among
others, songs as “Iguales”
(Peers) of social content,
“Contradicción”
(contradiction) that reflects
the problems that everyone
has to learn to live with, or
“Por ellas” (For them) a
tribute song to women,
whose invited artists are the
Colombian group
ChocQuibTown.
Since beginning his music
career in 1989, the also
actor and producer of
Argentine origin, has sold
millions of albums,
accumulating 5 nominations
for the MTV/VMALA awards
also being awarded with
three Latin GRAMMY® and
have won two GRAMMY®
award nominations.
