From the Programme editor The pitch stood up amazingly well last Satur<strong>day</strong> to all that rain, but the game was a lottery with the wind really getting up in Carshalton’s favour in the second half. Players, especially ours, were slipping all over the place, and it really was not any indication of form! However that’s not to distract from our lack of goals so its good to see Dane here and John tells me that there is a possibility of another proven striker signing as well. The events in Paris last week led to us holding a minute silence before the game and I’m sure that you will understand why I didn’t play my usual ZZ Top music for the teams to walk out on the pitch too (Thank goodness for that I hear you say!). Hopefully it will be back to<strong>day</strong>! Thank you for sticking with us during these difficult times and I’m sure that our fortunes will change soon.
