Temecula Valley Symphony’s Diverse<br />

Programming Attracts Large Crowds<br />

Temecula Valley Symphony kicked off its<br />

<strong>2015</strong>-<strong>2016</strong> Concert Season on October<br />

31. Formerly known as <strong>Inland</strong> Valley<br />

Symphony, this regional orchestra is focusing on<br />

rebranding itself to identify with the tremendous<br />

growth trends in Temecula Valley. Conducted<br />

by Music Director John Mario, the Symphony<br />

also presented Patriotic Salute for the City of<br />

Temecula on Veterans Day to a crowd of over<br />

1,000 people.<br />

Many of the symphony’s upcoming concerts<br />

are expected to sell out. <strong>Dec</strong>ember 19 th at 2pm,<br />

A Holiday Extravaganza will feature the organization’s<br />

newest addition, the Temecula Valley Symphony<br />

Chorus, under the Artistic Direction of<br />

Eric Rea, plus, the incredibly talented Soprano,<br />

Amber Mercomes. The program offers a potpourri<br />

of holiday favorites including selections<br />

from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, (Christmas<br />

Roundelay and Joy to the World) along with Hallelujah<br />

Chorus, Panis Angelicus, and more. TVS<br />

will perform a world premiere of “O, Come<br />

All Ye Faithful” arranged by John Fitzpatrick,<br />

one of the musicians in the orchestra. Guests<br />

will enjoy movie favorites like Merry Christmas,<br />

Merry Christmas (from Home Alone 2) and How<br />

the Grinch Stole Christmas, along with jazzy selec-<br />
