Steel Pan, the new Caribbean place to eat is now officially open, serving up<br />
exceptional authentic cuisine, roughly on the corner of 3rd Ave and E 31st St.<br />
in Midtown East, in Kips Bay- and customers are wildly excited about the new<br />
dinner fare.<br />
True to traditional Caribbean style, Steel Pan offers a variety of rum-spiked<br />
cordials to get your taste-buds all set for their show-stopping entrées. Steel Pan<br />
creates Caribbean favorites such as fish & chicken tacos, plantains, spicy jerk<br />
chicken and oxtail, to mention only a few options among the wealth of classic<br />
meals. Appetizer portions are said to be generous as well as tasty.<br />
Yet for all the colorful fanfare that the food has to offer, it seems that the edibles<br />
are only half of the appeal of Steel Pan. Diners agree that the staff is what brings<br />
it, with their warm smiles and inviting, open manner, this Caribbean eatery is a<br />
much-needed accompaniment to the area and has been well-received.<br />
