is considering a minor in music<br />
after she finishes high school. Her<br />
major, she says, will most likely be<br />
Pathology. “Someday I want to<br />
help wipe out infectious diseases,”<br />
says Kira.<br />
Says Anne, “I’m proud of my<br />
daughter—and myself. I had no<br />
idea how inspiring this would be<br />
for me. I was a homemaker without<br />
an associate degree. Now the whole<br />
family mentors each other. I’m not<br />
only getting a college degree – this<br />
is good for the whole family.”<br />
