The Patients.com<br />

This new magazine will express the views and opinions of the patient. The<br />

Patients.com aims to give the patient a forum where their voice can be heard<br />

and a platform where they can express their opinions and share their experiences.<br />

We understand that Healthcare is an industry and needs to make<br />

money but we are also constantly looking for ways to improve our service<br />

and need insights, motivation and ideas on which directions to move in. The<br />

Patients.com is written by professional journalists, medical professionals,<br />

philosophers and businessmen. Our aim is to close the gap between commercial<br />

reality and the challenge of medical ethics. The magazine will not only<br />

benefit patients but everybody who is interested in the developments of<br />

global healthcare.<br />

Launch<br />

After the <strong>prot</strong>otype of the magazine has been presented in Monaco we will<br />

begin the process of sourcing for advertisers. We will offer all our clients a<br />

well written and content rich magazine that will be published on a monthly<br />

basis, after an initial one year build up period. For the first edition, scheduled<br />

for July 2013, we will print approximately 15,000 copies and will offer a<br />

world-wide distribution service to selected countries. This will ensure The<br />

Patients.com is available to a worldwide audience through both newspaper<br />

kiosks and a subscribers list. We expect to attract both a professional and<br />

health educated international readership. The 1 st issue is due in July 2013, the<br />

2 nd issue is due in October 2013, the 3 rd issue is due in January 2014 and the<br />

4 th issue is due in March 2014. From May 2014 we plan on going monthly.<br />

Multilanguage versions of the magazine are also planned.<br />

Involvement<br />

We are open to talk with potential partners, investors and sponsors. Can you<br />

produce great content? Are you very knowledgeable on the subject of healthcare?<br />

Let The Patients.com help get your voice heard. We are looking for:<br />

neutral, objective and in-depth writers. We want to report on current issues,<br />

problems and offer an outlook on the future. New views, not-established<br />

opinions are welcome.<br />

Point of sale<br />

Issues 1 and 2 of the magazine will be distributed for free, and financed by<br />

advertisers. We then aim to have a payable magazine at newspaper kiosks,<br />

bookshops and by subscription. Sale locations will include hotels, business<br />

clubs, lounges, clinics, hospitals and malls.<br />

Writers<br />

We are looking for skilled writers who have a modern edge to their writing.<br />

We are looking for style and content that reflects the spirit of the time and anticipates<br />

future events. The ideal candidate should write in a style which allows<br />

the readership to make up their own minds.<br />
