Course overview<br />
Students will learn how to correct colour in a<br />
professional way. Introductory methods and ways to<br />
achieve best colouring results. The session will cover<br />
three options of colour correction:<br />
• Change of tone<br />
• Lightening<br />
• Darkening<br />
Students will leave with vital knowledge and will<br />
be able to perform colour corrective services with<br />
confidence.<br />

• Understand the world of colour correction and how<br />
it can be fun and enjoyable<br />
• A step by step approach<br />
• Gain confidence and over come the fear factor<br />
• Learn to deal with removal of colour bands,<br />
lightening darkened hair, re colouring lightened<br />
hair<br />
• Workshop<br />
• Case Studies<br />
• PowerPoint lectures (technique and collection<br />
concepts)<br />
Learners will need to provide their own scissors,<br />
combs, brushes, clips, head blocks or models, and<br />
hairdryers.<br />

A level 3 qualification in hairdressing<br />
Creative colour course and on your way to becoming<br />
senior colourist<br />

Denis Kovalyov is McDonald Waterfall’s International Colour Director. With over 13<br />
years’ experience, Denis started his education at Vidal Sassoon and followed on to<br />
Hobs Academy and Wella where he is now an Educator himself. As well as a salon<br />
owner Denis provides Salon Management Coaching. He has exceptionally strong<br />
technical colour skills and works at London, Paris and Moscow Fashion Week<br />
