It’s a tradition! The <strong>WAAPA</strong> Symphonic Wind Ensemble presents<br />
a fun, frenetic and frolicking concert for Halloween. This year’s<br />
concert takes its name from the jazzy masterwork Blue Shades by<br />
one of the world’s most well known band composers, Frank Ticheli.<br />
Also on the program will be David Maslanka’s intense and beautiful<br />
Give Us This Day, plus a few fun pieces old and new to celebrate the<br />
end of the academic year.<br />

GRADUATION<br />
RECITALS<br />
Graduation recitals are the highlight of a music<br />
student’s studies, and bring <strong>WAAPA</strong>’s 2016 music<br />
calendar to a thrilling conclusion. After years<br />
of hard practice and performance, the standard<br />
of these recitals is exceptional.<br />
Jazz and Contemporary Music recitals will take<br />
place at The Ellington Jazz Club in Northbridge<br />
throughout October and November.<br />
Classical Instrumental, Classical Vocal and<br />
Composition recitals will take place in<br />
various <strong>WAAPA</strong> venues at ECU Mount Lawley<br />
throughout November.<br />
