The Wedding Girl
by Madeleine Wickham
“Knowing a person isn’t like knowing a string of facts. It’s
more like...a feeling.”
If you want to go with something light but still need twist and turn;
the wedding girl is a good chick-lit to read. The author of this
book is madeline wickham which is a pseudonym of sophie kinsela--
sophaholic series. As madeline wickham I can say she is a
bit witty and more serious than sophie kinsela. The Wedding girl
is told in third person and with different point of views (this kind of
writing is really gripping, because we aren’t left super clueless).
It’s centered on Millie who is about to have grandiose wedding
with Simon-- the only son of multimillionaire in Bath, England.
A secret revealed in the first page of the book making everything
upside-down. Although I don’t agree with several things
in the book, it is still an okay to read for something fun and silly.
