COMMUNICATION
the event:
char3l
As for this year, the event chaired by Miftaahul
Jannah leading other divisions. On the other
hand, CHAR3L has held some pre-events,
such as: FUTCHAL tournament, selling food
and drinks, books donation for fundraising.
This event was specially designed to support
and encourage the kids to keep pursuing
their dreams and education. As we all
know, kids these days–especially for those
who come from family that are less fortunate
tends to quit school and leave their dreams
behind. Thus, the aim of this event is to make
the kids are aware of who they actually are
and discover their potential as human beings.
The first thing that the team did was getting
the library of Yayasan Bhakti Nurul Iman
fixed. Then, Ms. Dias Rima Sutiono delivered
a meaningful motivational session about life
and its hardship. Ms. Dias also shared how
she overcame the problems in life with a
very touching story of her life experience.
All in all, the main point of the session is that
“it is okay to not have an aspiration of what
we want to work as in the future but having
a dream is the most important –having a
dream is the key.” The next session! The story
time; this section is all about delivering a
meaningful message about fighting to reach
their dreams through a story. Photo-shoots
session was conducted afterwards, this
section allows the kids to be photographed
as if they are in their graduation as a symbol
of motivation for them to keep pursuing
their education. Hopefully, through the sessions
they will develop an understanding
that there are no obstacles too high as long
as they try their best in everything. Not only
for the children, but all of the facilitators also
were happy of the event and are delighted
to see the children go home and start pursuing
their dreams—and above all: Hope.
