Which one is easier: photographing
wedding or unspecified style of
photograph?
As a photographer, there are a lot of tools,
gears, and equipment to be bought, and one
of the ways to save enough money to buy
them is by doing side gigs as a wedding photographer.
What kind of things do you like to
photograph?
I like both of inanimate and animate objects, but
for me it is actually easier to photograph people.
People have expressions and emotions. Thus, it
is easier to be captured. Inanimate objects are
harder because we cannot tell them what to do.
Capturing beautiful results from inanimate objects
depends more on our skills.
What photography technique that you often
use, and why? How does it define your
photography style?
Hmm… There is no specific technique that I use
more often than the others. In terms of style, I
like black & white kind of style, and also a combination
of colors currently popular to Instagram
community. I focused more on the mood of the
photos when taking pictures. I think my pictures
mostly have some kind of soft-peaceful mood;
not too hard on the eyes.
If you identify photography as part of
yourself, what do you usually do to translate
your passion into the pictures that
people would know from the pictures that
you are really into doing it?
It has to do with sense and taste. I met this senior
photographer, and he told me our sensitivity
should be there when we are taking pictures. It
is when your interest to freeze your object of interest
into photographs combined with common
photography theories. The tip is before you go
out and bring your camera with you, you have
to know what kind of thing you want photograph
on that day.
