The House Judiciary and Senate Judiciary are the Congressional committees of jurisdiction for LBIF Changes to regulatory fees require a fee study and notice and comment rulemaking (notice of proposed rulemaking/request for public comments and final rule) for each fee change would be needed. The entire process normally takes at least 2 years.
