Core values and excellence
in technical engineering
INGÉROP Group was created in 1962 as a branch dedicated to technical studies of the French contractor
GTM (Grands Travaux de Marseille), which later became part of VINCI in 2000.
Although originally dedicated to civil and structural engineering, INGÉROP Group progressively enhanced its
expertise in order to undertake multidisciplinary projects including electrical & mechanical engineering
as well as process equipment and installations. At the same time, INGÉROP Group developed strong
project management capabilities to serve both public and private sector clients within its core businesses
of infrastructure, public transport, energy, water and environment, buildings and industrial facilities.
In 2001, INGÉROP Group became an independent consulting engineering company and is today
a simplified joint-stock company, with an internal controlling shareholding based upon a strong
commitment of its entire staff. The fi rm is led by an Executive Board and overseen by a Supervisory Board.
Thanks to its exceptional network of regional branches, INGÉROP Group is continuing to expand its
powerful local position in France. In the meantime the turnover generated outside France is steadily
growing with the target to reach one third of our activity abroad in the coming years both through
organic growth and through dedicated acquisitions.
With 1,600 permanent staff including 950 engineers and thanks to their dedication, experience and
expertise, INGÉROP Group is a leading partner in the execution of engineering projects relating to
civil, building and nuclear works, able to provide services which add value in a sustainable manner.
Socially responsible, INGÉROP Group staff share the following values:
a constant commitment to recruit, educate and maintain highly qualified engineers in order to
focus on technically demanding projects,
an open employee relationship based on mutual trust, respect and sharing of success,
independence, transparency, accountability and discipline rendering in our services,
financial responsibility to our clients,
an uncompromising commitment to Health, Safety and Environment.
Yves Metz
Chairman of the Executive Board

Sustainable answer
to international demand
The capacity of INGÉROP Group to intervene out of France relies on:
its existing subsidiaries and offices abroad,
the ability of a major Group to efficiently mobilize experienced internal teams,
and the long term relationships and network developed in the world through partnership.
Therefore, besides countries where our subsidiaries are located, we regularly contract and mobilize
across the globe, in particular, South and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and throughout Africa.
Our range of services abroad include consulting and feasibility studies on any subject relevant
to our disciplines, turnkey assistance to owners, design and construction supervision, as well as
commissioning of works on major international projects. We currently manage major contracts in:
infrastructure, where we supervise the design and construction of the Danube Bridge between
Romania and Bulgaria, the design of different sections of the East-West Motorway in Algeria or the
design of Trinitrain in Trinidad and Tobago,
public transportation with the tramways of Constantine in Algeria, Granada in Spain, Sarragosse,
Morelia in Mexico or Santos in Brazil,
water with the rehabilitation of INGA II hydroelectric plant in the Democratic Republic of Congo and
Cahora Bassa Dam spillway gates in Moçambique,
buildings with the design of Grace Hospital in Monaco or the headquarter offi ces of TOTAL in Angola,
industrial and nuclear facilities with the design of a nuclear waste storage building for the French
Electricity Supplier EDF in Bugey, France.
Energy and sustainable development constitute key issues for future generations, and INGÉROP Group
is investing in current R&D projects in order to play an increasing role in these fields. The creation of
NucAdvisor in 2009 is unique to the INGÉROP Group, making us an independent European consulting
firm in nuclear services.
For all our disciplines, our vision is to be a leading European engineering firm delivering services
in a global marketplace.
