Also, conducting training in advocacy and leadership skills<br />

aimed at empowering women and capacitating them to be able to take<br />

a more active part in society.<br />

Controlling child recruitment<br />

Disengaging children from the ongoing violent conflict through raising<br />

awareness about the dangers of armament.<br />

Release of detainees<br />

The national Syria: Homeland Not Prison** campaign is one example.<br />

It focused on the release of tens of thousands of detainees and people<br />

under enforced disappearance in the regime’s prisons.<br />
