5.2.5 Advantages of providing for<br />

anonymous reporting<br />

Anonymous reporting can mean that<br />

no names are provided but students are<br />

encouraged to make a statement about<br />

bullying behaviour that they have<br />

witnessed or experienced, limiting the<br />

information to the class in which it occured<br />

or the location in the school environment.<br />

Anonymous reporting can give students<br />

who would otherwise be reluctant to report<br />

bullying an opportunity to do so without<br />

negative consequences, in fact there are a<br />

number of advantages:<br />
