music 4 all–composition classes music Composition Classes (Gr 3–adult) Students who have completed theory 2 or higher are eligible for our composition classes taught by professional composers. Many classes use Sibelius notation software, a professional industry standard. Showcase of student works presented at last class. Composition 1* Gr 3–Adult $290/16 wks prereq: Theory 2 or higher. Intro to writing your own music! Students learn about form, harmony, melody & rhythm, plus composition techniques used by composers throughout history. Sessions incorporate music history, listening & composition concepts. Students will present a final composition project at the last class.
