How did you get into the cannabis industry?
A contract was presented to me through a friend, inviting me
to manage a new cannabis clinic called PhytoMedical and
work in the sales department of Homegrown Hydroponics in
Ontario. Since I’m always up for a challenge, I accepted.
Tell us a bit about yourself and your current career.
I love adventure travel, alternative medicine and diversity
in all forms. My current career allows me to work as an
advocate for patients, providing dignified access to cannabis
while writing and staying open to new opportunities.
What do you like best about working in this industry?
The people, hands down.
Can you share one tip many medicinal
cannabis users could benefit from?
Low and slow! Try new strains and intake methods regularly.
I like to think of Mary Jane as a woman. If you keep
approaching her the same way and expecting different
results, you’re going to be disappointed. Mix it up!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Play in the forest with the horses, ride motorcycles, dance,
read and play Nerf wars with my little man.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I see myself on a wellness ranch, providing dignified
access to cannabis at a retreat center and working
with horses for healing.
Finally, give us three random facts about yourself.
1. I can tie a cherry stem with my tongue.
2. Headstands are my signature move.
3. I smell like patchouli and sandalwood.
