Launched in 2006, Isk<strong>and</strong>ar Malaysia is the single largest special economic region ever<br />
to be developed in the region. Founded on principles <strong>of</strong> low carbon, green economy,<br />
green technologies <strong>and</strong> social integration, Isk<strong>and</strong>ar Malaysia aims to serve as a potential<br />
template for urban development in emerging countries with burgeoning populations.<br />
