2. Both were culminated with a feast with the Giver (God-Jesus)<br />

and participated by the elders of the communities to whom it<br />

were given. It was with 74 elders in Mosaic Covenant and 12<br />

elders of the New Israel in the New Covenant.<br />

3. Both were culminated with blood of the sacrifice of the<br />

sacrificial lamb and the sprinkling or reception of this blood by<br />

the recipient. In both cases it was given with the institutional<br />

words, "This is the blood of the Covenant".<br />

4. At the end of the covenant ratification, instructions and<br />

regulations were given through an intermediary ;Moses in the<br />

first case and the Holy Spirit in the second case.<br />

What are the terms of the covenant in these cases?<br />

Exod. 19:5-6 Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant,<br />

then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession.<br />

Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom<br />

of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words you are to<br />

speak to the Israelites."<br />

Deut. 7:6-8 For you are a people holy to the LORD your God.<br />

The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on<br />

the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.<br />

The LORD did not set his affection on you and choose you<br />

because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you<br />

were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because the LORD<br />

loved you and kept the oath he swore to your forefathers that he<br />
