Paul Bamborough<br />
Born in Birmingham in 51, BAM<br />
gained his arts degree at<br />
Wolverhampton, he worked as a<br />
writer for TV Radio, Film & Theatre<br />
with some success, before<br />
returning to his main passionpainting!<br />
Over the last 25 years<br />
BAM has held exhibitions at various<br />
galleries & venues in London &<br />
Birmingham. His work has fell into a<br />
variety of themes, each in a series<br />
of 10-15 separate canvases, the<br />
wryly separate humorous series of<br />
pop art paintings proving<br />
particularly popular. The latest<br />
series 'Squares', are a series of<br />
images (all acrylic on canvas)<br />
moving through dimensional<br />
shapes & forms, visually held<br />
together by the sheer weight of<br />
colours within the confines of the<br />
squares. A series of illustrated joke<br />
books are available from Amazon<br />
by BAM, titled BAMBOOZLES 1, 2, &<br />
