From the production studio behind Gekkan Shoujo<br />
Nozaki-kun and Himouto! Umaru-chan, Love Lab aired<br />
along with Free!, Danganronpa and WATAMOTE in the<br />
Summer 2013 line-up. However, due to the first impression<br />
of some viewers by the show having a shoujo-ai<br />
subplot (girl-to-girl love), it wasn’t as popular as other<br />
shows, even if it actually isn’t shoujo-ai (just really<br />
deep female friendships).<br />
The show itself is very enjoyable and witty, you will<br />
keep on wanting more. The characters are varied that<br />
in the first few episodes, you may already have a favorite.<br />
There isn’t much plot as it is a slice-of-life show, but<br />
the humor is there. The art is very calming and lovely,<br />
while the animation is very intricate yet light. The<br />
voice actors fit their roles very well and the soundtrack<br />
is quite catchy.<br />
