NURSING CARE MANAGER I – This Registered Nurse will work 40
hours/week, Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm serving as the admission
liaison for the inpatient neurorehabilitation unit. Other duties include
monitoring services delivered, evaluating collected data for outcome
information, and initiating change to improve processes. This role also
includes local travel and community outreach to referral sources and
payors. The successful candidate will possess excellent oral and written
communication skills and cultural sensitivity. In addition, the candidate
must possess the ability to prioritize and multi-task while maintaining
a patient/family centered focus. Qualifications: Current registered
nurse licensure in the State of Maryland Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
required. Related case management, quality assurance or utilization
review certification preferred and certification preferred. A minimum
of three years’ experience in a healthcare setting with knowledge of
community resources is required. Applicant must be proficient with MS
Office suite and pediatric hospital experience is preferred.
LOWER/MIDDLE SCHOOL NURSE – This Registered Nurse will
work 24 hours/week M, T, F or M, W, F 7:45am-3:45pm during
the school year and 7:45am-3:15pm during the summer months. The
School Nurse adheres to the standards set by the Maryland Nurse
Practice Act and utilizes the nursing process in developing, implementing
and evaluating a plan of care which will help the student achieve and
maintain their optimal level of wellness. The School Nurse involves
the parent/guardian, therapist, teacher, and other appropriate staff as
needed to promote the student’s level of wellness. The school is located
at 1750 E. Fairmount Avenue Baltimore, MD 21231. Qualifications:
Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Maryland. Minimum
of one year of clinical experience required, with one year school health
experience required.
