TUMBLED SANDSTONE
INDIAN SANDSTONE
Tumbled Sandstone brings a touch of warmth and age that
particularly suits older and traditional settings. The tumble
surface finish is created by passing newly riven stone
through vibrating machinery to smooth edges, round off
corners and soften the riven profile, creating a vintage feel.
“ We decided to break
up the pattern by using
circles made with tiles
and potted plants for a
finished effect. We also
used a coloured grout to
off-set the colour of the
sandstone. Terracing is a
way of bringing interest to
a project and separates
areas of use. ”
