The client wanted a modern<br />
garden, without the need for<br />
mowing. The children had all left<br />
home, and he wanted a garden<br />
that looked great and was easy to<br />
entertain in.<br />
The brief included removing<br />
all of the grass and incorporating<br />
room for a sculpture, various<br />
sitting areas to enjoy the different<br />
aspects of the garden and room<br />
to incorporate another Glantz<br />
Cantilever umbrella that he had in<br />
his holiday home in Portugal.<br />
The designer specified London<br />
Stone’s Beola Bianca Porcelain<br />
paving for the hard surfaces within<br />
the garden. This product blends<br />
in with the contrast of materials<br />
between the Ipe Hardwood<br />
decking, the borders and the black<br />
