Bag a bargain!
I’ve recently discovered an amazing factory shop in
Sutton called Label Traders… I think I must be a bit
slow off the mark because it was bustling when I went
in last week, so it appears like me, many other young
mums have discovered this hidden gem! I didn’t expect
to find such a great selection of kidswear – I came away
with various babygros ready for my new baby due in
June (and they were only £5 for a pack of 7!), and I
also picked up some pyjamas for my son. Everything is
ex high street so there are some really good bargains – I
even got a couple of new tops for myself! I can’t believe
I had never seen it before – it’s so convenient too as they
have free parking and much to my little boy’s delight,
there is a soft play area in store so he was kept amused
whilst I was busy shopping. I will definitely be going
back again!
Come and find out how
your child can ASPIRE
to a brighter future…
Choosing a secondary school is one of the most important decisions
you will have to make for you and your child. The decision making
process will be eased by gathering as much information in advance
of the October deadline. With this in mind, we would like to extend
an invitation to parents/carers and your child to come and tour the
Academy.
Sir William Robertson Academy is delighted at being judged as ‘Good’ in
all areas of the school following its Ofsted inspection in June 2015. The
school has been recognised as being one of the ‘Top 100 non-selective
state-funded schools in England’ in a recent letter from Nick Gibb MP
– Minister of State for Schools (February 2016).
The school fosters an aspirational ethos in which every child is expected
to achieve the very best they can in all that they do. Our pupils are
well supported through an engaging and dynamic academic curriculum
that is tailored to the needs of the individual. The school is well
resourced, with wonderful outdoor facilities for a wide range of
sporting activities. We offer a full and active programme of musical
and performing arts from our purpose built studios. Come and find
out how your child can ASPIRE to a brighter future by booking a personal
tour on 01400 272422 or join us at our Summer Open Evening on Thursday
30th June 2016. Please visit www.swracademy.org to find out more.
YMCA day camps
“Both of my children had a fantastic time and
came home eager to tell me all about what
they’d been doing in the day. I love the show at
the end of the week where I can see what my
kids have been up to, and the staff are always
really approachable, friendly and great to have
a chat with whilst you’re waiting to retrieve
your children. The whole camp is impeccably
run.” – Camp Williams parent, 2016
At YMCA day camps, 4 – 15 year olds are provided with
opportunities to form their own values, learning and
