Q – Can you tell us a bit about yourself and what you are currently working on?
A - Hi, my name is Ben and I’m currently studying Graphic Design at the University of the Arts
London. I like to make illustrations on the side, as it’s always been a big passion to me. I’m currently
working on a new series of portraiture artworks called the ‘Fragment’.

Q – What were some of the details that stood out during the process?
A - Probably how I begin to let the medium take part of the design. In my old works every
area is precise and measured to how I want it to be. Now, you can see more paint dripping
and free hand drawings, maybe it’s the confidence I have built up from practice but this
shifts the process to another route and most times lead to a more interesting outcome.
